It was raining in this neutral land on which the State of the Union was to be set. Furlin is a tiny agriculture kingdom that lay just minutes away from Ferme. It was a desirable land if you were into farming and constant political feuds between nobles. Then again it wasn't much different from Manda.

The castle which held the meeting was massive, it was Furlin's capital building which they graciously let us use it. I guess graciously isn't the correct word to use for their situation. After all I had to threaten them in order to use this neutral zone. The people of this kingdom are too stubborn to listen to reason, always need to carry a big stick to keep them in order.

The meeting room was big yet the table was rather small. It was a round table, only big enough for four people. I sat at end of the table, my back to majestic fireplace which heated and lit the room. Mariah walked into the room, taking a couple of seconds to view it. She soon took her place on my right side. "Our guests are arriving." she informed me. "Where is our new member?" I asked. "Void is somewhere… I'll go search for him." Mariah left my side to search for the boy.

The first to enter was the room was Replay and her circus freaks. There was no need to greet the guest, such formalities weren't need. Replay took her seat, on my right without saying a word to me. Saraya stood behind her master, handing her papers. "So has the crime rate gone down, Mister Seth?" she asked, I could tell she was mocking me for failure in attempting to kill her sister. I paid no heed to her insolent question.

Second to walk in was Psyche, representing Allegiance's archenemy Phantom. The little girl was escorted to her seat by three of her members. Once seated across from me, they surrounded her on all three sides. It was dead silent on Phantom's side. I wasn't expediting a warm welcome but at least a witty remark. I was curious about the new member of Phantom, the only one who hid his face. I believe his name was Nero.

Last to enter was the most secretive of all, MOD. Only two came, one covered head to toe in a purple cloth who I assumed to be leader that we have coded to be Unknown. Gage Miles followed shortly behind her. She took her seat to my left, Gage standing on her right. "Are we going to begin shortly?" Unknown asked. Her voice was muffled by her mask preventing me to clearly hear her. I simply nodded in reply.

I stood up from my seat. My simply action seemed to make my guest tense up. "Welcome my 'honored' guest to the Kingdom of Furlin. We have all gathered here today to discus each party's visions for the future of Manda and to address complaints. Remember we all have Manda's well being in mind so please do keep this as civil as possible." I announced, using my natural charisma to break the tenseness in the room.

"As you all know, my name is Seth. I am the current leader of Allegiance and the ruler of Manda. I speak on behalf of Allegiance and to well being of the citizens of Manda. My vision for the future is to have Manda free from useless political disputes in order to form a more perfect union, maintain strict justice, and ensuring prosperity for our people."  

"Allegiance is willing to talk to its enemies to ensure our goals are met and even to compromise in order to do so. The compromise will take form of a treaty. In the course of this meeting, I'll be taking down notes. From these notes I'll write up a treaty and it'll be up to your party to decide to accept the measures. Any who do not accept the treaty or do not uphold it would be officially considered a domestic terrorist and will be destroyed by any means necessary."

"This treaty just sounds like an excuse for the Allegiance to use to destroy its enemies." Nero stated. He was quick to catch on but he was talking out of line, no surprise he's just a rookie. "Allegiance needs a good reason to destroy or the people will frown upon it." I stated with a smirk, I was tried of playing the nice guy. "I really do wish to prevent civil war. It's such a pain to deal with. This treaty will prevent most of the violence, not unless you all conspire to destroy Allegiance as a common enemy."

The room was quite, no one replied. "Replay you're next to speak." I said, sitting back down in my chair. I was deep in thought. Phantom was against Allegiance, MOD against us both, and Replay's Circus hanging out in back profiting from all of us. There would be no way to have all of Allegiance's enemies to team up. This is the reason why we will not fail. To many conflicting agendas, Allegiance only has one.
